Ways to Put a Clean Body Piercing

I recently got my nose pierced, and was amazed by how body jewelry worked. I was ten years old when I had my ears pierced and had not worry since then about it.
After a few days, my piercing healed and I can start to use earrings already. I didn’t have any infections and seems like nothing happen. Learning how to clean your piercing also plays a great help in not having infections. After getting a nose piercing, I’ve learned that body jewelry safety is very important.
Whenever you clean your piercing for body jewelry, never use a rubbing alcohol nor hydrogen peroxide. It’s because the body might think that the jewelry in place is something foreign that it will try to get rid of it as it heals. Try asking the person who did your piercing on what you should do best to avoid this kind of thing to happen. Although there are body jewelry that can’t be pushed out, you still need to know if you’re using the correct ones.
You also have to worry about moving your body jewelry around at the wrong times. Though you may have been told to turn your lobe earrings a few times a day to be sure the skin does not attach to the earring, that is not always true with all piercings.
Like on your nose piercing, you might damage your skin around your nose area if your turn the earrings while the skin is dry. To stop that from happening, some body jewelry items should only be moved, turned, or replaced when they are wet. If you are not sure, go back to where you got your piercing. If they are a good place, they can help you with all of those things when you are in doubt about touching or changing your body jewelry for any reason.
Another thing you should consider about body jewelry safety is the practicality of what you want to have done. If you have your belly button pierced, but have to wear pants that are going to rub it all of the time, you are not going to be happy.
Piercings in the private areas can be fun, but they can also mean you are more susceptible to things like STDs. Think hard about what you are doing, and remember that most can be removed if you find you are not happy. Safety and well being should always be more important than the body jewelry that you would like to wear.
